It is super common to think that design is a process of exploration, thinking, and expression, as is the usual urban planning. While exploring the space and designing more possibilities, we also use real "living on the ground" to explore. After thinking about it, it finally expresses a space design with distinctive personality and vigorous vitality.
Problem Statement and Project Solution
Just like the description in "The Invisible Cities", each city has a distinct personality and a different dimension. On the other hand, Hi Tea is to convey brand potential and dialogue with tea drinkers through "cool", "inspiration" and "design" in the tea drinking space of each city. Therefore, the supernormal team travels in various cities to find the city's local imprint. While fully conveying the brand, let tea drinkers feel the city's context, scenes and ordinary life through Hey Tea.
Creation Process & Result
The short-lived local experience, the ancient city wall of Nanjing, the experience of visiting the garden, and the heavy history and tea culture are the strongest feelings. Walls, gardens, history, and tea are the local imprints we obtained, and then we explored the tea space in Nanjing.
The bright window wells, the narrow lanes of Jianshui Township, the neighborhood space in front of the house, and the new shoots of the willow branches in Qinghui Garden are the marks of Shunde we have found.
Through the imprint, we can find the dialogue between the new and the old materials, and the modern reappearance of the Nanjing Gardening Experience and the continuous circuitous roadways of Shunde Water Village,
This is our original intention for the tea space design.
Under the social network image of the city's gas and fireworks, the light rail ropeway hanging foot building, and the tea house hot pot Mala Tang, the more essential peace of the city is discovered.
How does the project reflect the exhibition theme "Cultural Bay Area • Humanistic Design"?
Warm the heart
Nowadays, each of us is affected by work, interpersonal relationships and various factors, and it is inevitable that we will feel exhausted and impetuous. I usually hope that everyone in the tea space will slow down and feel the history, humanities, nature, seasons, and heart through the environment, so as to generate memories, associations, introspection, and gratitude. Through the tea space, their hearts are calm and warm. Let this cup of tea be not only a trendy product, but also the eternal life aesthetics of every tea drinker.
