根据联合国和世界卫生组织公布的数据,目前全世界约有2.80亿视障人士,盲人的数量多达3900多万,包括400-450万全盲人。而仅仅在中国,视力残疾达1700多万。视障人士损失了正常的视觉,对颜色、形状、距离、运动的理解都很困难,他们的生活在起居、出行、心理等方面都受到了巨大的影响。如何帮助视障人士更好的生活,融入社会,成为世界关注视障人士的各界所思考的问题。

 

According to data released by the United Nations and the World Health Organization, there are currently about 280 million visually impaired people in the world, and there are more than 39 million blind people, including 4 to 4.5 million totally blind people. In China alone, there are more than 17 million visual disabilities. The visually impaired people have lost their normal vision and have difficulty in understanding colors, shapes, distances, and sports. Their lives are greatly affected in daily life, travel, and psychology. 盲人视觉辅助眼镜, 属于国内首家将三维立体信息技术应用到视觉辅助领域,并首创了立体交互系统,通过特殊编码的立体声音可以在脑海中“虚拟”呈现环境信息。它改变了盲人传统的出行方式,利用相机采集图像,对图像中的信息进行深度处理,有效检测出图像中的人物、地面、障碍物、纸币金额、车辆等信息,最终将检测结果转化为非语义的声音编码,通过骨传导耳机传递给盲人进行辅助。通过计算机视觉、AR、VR、人工智能、云计算、大数据、智能控制和智能传感等技术,并不断完善盲人视觉辅助眼镜的功能和体验,与视障人士沟通和交流,创建基于“krvision”云平台,借助于大数据、云计算和物联网技术,贯穿视障人士的衣、食、住、行领域,全面构建视障人士的生活服务生态系统。

盲人视觉辅助眼镜项目立项于2012年浙江大学光电信息工程学院,汪凯巍教授带领5名博士和12名硕士开始专注于盲人视觉辅助领域前沿技术的研究和验证。盲人视觉辅助眼镜精准定位导航,设备将图像处理技术与传统地图的导航模式相结合,而且能够判断出用户的当前朝向,并且根据图像处理获取当前位置的兴趣点。在产品体验上,应从触感和体感给盲人一种舒适,安全的感受;从造型中,通过表面曲面协调的处理,增强产品的结构识别性、降低学习成本;贴合部选择柔性及软性材料,增强产品和皮肤的舒适性,材料体量轻盈且环保;人机尺寸的处理要合理,符合大部分人群的使用,产品要有合理的尺寸空间;体量要求尽量轻巧,无压迫感觉;让眼镜具有“交流性”、“互动性”。
