Their lives are greatly affected in daily life, travel, and psychology. How to help visually impaired people live a better life and integrate into society has become a question that people from all walks of life are thinking about.
Problem Statement and Project Solution
The visual assisting glasses for the blind are the first domestic application of three-dimensional information technology to the field of visual aids, and pioneered a three-dimensional interactive system, through which special encoded stereo sound can "virtually" present environmental information in the mind. It changes the traditional way of travel for the blind, uses the camera to collect images, performs in-depth processing of the information in the image, and effectively detects people, ground, obstacles, banknotes, vehicles and other information in the image, and finally converts the detection results into non The semantic voice coding is delivered to the blind through bone conduction headphones for assistance. The visual assisting glasses for the blind was established in 2012 in the School of Optoelectronic Information Engineering, Zhejiang University.
